The SSI Recreational Sidemount Diving Instructor Seminar will get you qualified to teach sidemount diving to all your divers. Let your divers enjoy the benefits of sidemount diving and offer the course as a stand-alone or as equipment configuration for your other courses.

The SSI Recreational Sidemount Diving Instructor Seminar includes equipment workshop and setup, academic presentations, teaching sidemount, confined and open water dives.

Active status Recreational Sidemount Diving Instructors may teach, supervise and issue certifications for the following program: Recreational Sidemount Diving

The course is taught by SSI / XR Technical Extended Range Instructor Trainer Ivan Karadzic on Koh Tao, Thailand. Ivan has been a sidemount diver since 2010, using sidemount configuration for wreck and cave exploration as well as preferred setup for technical dive training.
During the course we will focus on real-life diving, you will get introduced to common learner problems and their solutions, how to properly fit your students in their equipment, equipment maintenance and problem-solving. Your sidemount diving skills are expected to be perfect as this is not a sidemount diving course. If you are a certified sidemount diver but you feel you lack the experience please don't hesitate to contact us about our sidemount workshops.
